PSA-Mobile is an expert in mobile application development and we can offer you a
wide range of high quality services in mobile solutions design. To develop a mobile
application we employ the following libraries and frameworks:
Flash Flash is a multimedia platform developed and distributed by Adobe Systems.
This platform contains ActionScript - a scripting language allowing creation of interactive
multimedia applications. Main areas of Flash use are games and web applications.
At present Adobe Flash Player is available for free on most mobile devices.
J2ME, J2SE J2SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition or Java SE) and J2ME (Java Platform, Micro Edition, or Java ME)
are popular platforms designed for mobile devices and embedded systems and used for programming
on the Java language. Java SE consists of a virtual machine used for running Java programs
together with a set of libraries. The libraries are needed to allow the use of file systems,
graphical interfaces, networks, etc. from within the programs.
 Sprout Core
SproutCore is an open-source JavaScript framework which allows creating web applications
with advanced capabilities and with a user interface comparable to desktop applications.
JavaScript code is used in SproutCore application development. SproutCore was created in 2007
by Sproutit and is available under the MIT License. One of the exiting use of SproutCore is MobileMe.
Apple announced MobileMe in 2008 and noticed that the greater part of the application was built by using
SproutCore. According to MIT License Apple contributed to the project as part of a Web 2.0 initiative.
SproutCore is also used at iWork.com - online extension of productivity software by Apple.
 WAP
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is an open international standard for application-layer
mobile devices in a wireless communication environment. Basic use of Wireless Application
Protocol is accessing mobile web from a mobile phone or communicator. WAP browsers provide
all basic services provided by computer-based web browsers. WAP browsers have been simplified to
operate within the restrictions of mobile devices (mainly small view screen).
Users are able to connect to WAP sites, websites written in or dynamically converted to
WML (Wireless Markup Language) format and those connections should be accessed via the WAP browser.
WAP allows providing such services as music downloads; e-mail by mobile phone; tracking of sports
results and news headlines, etc.
 Qtopia
Qtopia (Qt Extended) is an application platform for Embedded Linux-based mobile devices
such as mobile phones, communicators, PDAs and projectors, and was developed by Qt Software
(a subsidiary of Nokia). Qtopia is a universal platform designed to give possibilities for
maximum customization and the choice of developing commercial applications or free GPL applications.
Qt Extended is available under dual licenses.
